Basic risk management practice is to think about
what information and choices are most important to the problem and their technical, cost
and/or schedule components. Focus on the
risks that are both most likely and also could have the greatest impact.
You should have a basic understanding of the biggest risks. Writing
them down is good. Developing mitigation plans may or may not make
sense, especially in the smallest of projects. Risk
management from systems engineering and program/project management, and risk
management as an independent discipline are well documented. Web references
are getting better. |
